Please join us for the annual sale of heirloom roses. Don’t miss this opportunity to purchase: rooted cuttings of many of our antique rose varieties and larger potted antique roses. There are hundreds of roses in various sizes and Cemetery perennials available for purchase.

Almost 200 varieties of old garden roses, representing ancestors of modern roses, are planted along both sides of the historic old brick wall at Old City Cemetery and are scattered throughout the 27 acre site. Rose walks are scheduled in May when they are at their peak bloom, check the website for details.
All sale proceeds benefit the continued preservation and interpretation of the Old City Cemetery, a Virginia Historic Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. This event will be held rain or shine and is free to the public. (434) 847-1465 or visit www.gravegarden.org
