The “old roses” are the soul of the Old City Cemetery gravegarden. Originally, they were planted by families on the graves of their loved ones. These horticulture treasures will be studied and painted in the water-color workshops, led by botanical artist Tica Sydnor.
Each session is two days, May 15 and 16, 10:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00. Lunch is 1:00- 2:00. Bring a bag lunch. Drinks and cookies will be provided.
The cost is $125 for each session. The price includes a detailed booklet with techniques, colors, a drawing sheet, and “Fabriano Artistico” watercolor paper for finished painting. A supply list will be posted at the downtown Art Box and the prices are 20% off.
