Learn about Victorian Mourning etiquette, including the making of hair jewelry.  Attendees will have the materials to make their own “heirloom,” a framed hair piece in a “basket plait” pattern.  Members of the Cardinal Lace Guild of Lynchburg will be in attendance working on their bobbin lace projects, demonstrating this historical art of the past.

The cost is $10 and all materials are provided.  Call 847-1465 for a reservation, space is limited.  The event is at the Cemetery Center, in the Edith Lee Reading Room, located on the lower level.
