24th Annual Antique Rose Festival

April 13 @ 9:00 am - June 2 @ 3:00 pm

 Stop and Smell the Roses!

The Antique Rose Collection is the Soul of Our Grave Garden

Please join us for our annual Antique Rose Festival events and our sale of heirloom roses.

Over 350 varieties of old garden roses, many of which are ancestors of modern roses, are planted along both sides of the historic brick wall and scattered throughout our 27 acres.  Walk along the brick wall, purchase your favorite roses, and attend one of our scheduled rose events. The month of May is when the roses are in their peak bloom.

Saturday, April 13

9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Don’t miss this opportunity to purchase many of our antique rose varieties as one year, two year or three year old plants. There are hundreds of roses in various sizes and Cemetery perennials available for purchase.

All sale proceeds benefit the continued preservation and interpretation of the Old City Cemetery, a Virginia Historic Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places.  These events will be held rain or shine.
