Stop by the Cemetery Center, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. for hot cider, cookies, and last-minute gifts, before going to the Chapel for a special holiday concert by Woody and Marcia McKenzie beginning at 3:00 p.m.! The McKenzies perform a wide variety of music, from original folk to traditional songs from Appalachia and the British Isles, children’s music, and even jazz and swing standards. For this concert they will be focusing on Christmas and holiday songs from the 16th through the early 20th centuries and will offer a bit of the history behind some of the songs. Entertaining you with their duet vocals and playing a variety of instruments (fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, cittern, concertina, whistles, and bodhran), they are sure to invite you to sing along!
